Download stuck at 0% or 'Pending'

  • Pause other downloads and app updates in the Play Store.
  • Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data.
  • Turn off data saver in Chrome settings.
  • Restart Chrome and try again.

'Download failed' or 'Network error'

This usually happens when the connection drops mid-download. During load-shedding, Wi-Fi routers switch off; use mobile data instead. After a failure, delete the partial file before downloading again.

Browser blocks the file

Chrome may show 'This type of file can harm your device'. Tap Download anyway only for the official link. If Chrome keeps blocking, check Chrome → Settings → Privacy → Safe Browsing — Standard protection allows you to choose, while Enhanced may block more files.

Other browsers like Opera Mini or UC Browser sometimes rename APK files. Chrome is the most reliable choice.

Tapping the button does nothing

  • Allow pop-ups for this site in the address bar.
  • Disable ad-blockers or VPN apps that block redirects.
  • Try opening the site in a normal (not private) tab.

Can't find the downloaded file

Open the Files or File Manager app → Downloads. You can also open Chrome → ⋮ → Downloads.

Downloading during load-shedding

Power cuts switch off home Wi-Fi routers without warning, which breaks downloads halfway. If your area has scheduled load-shedding, either download after power returns or switch to mobile data before you start. A UPS for your router also helps.

Fixing a very slow download

  • Move closer to your Wi-Fi router, or stand near a window for better 4G signal.
  • Turn Airplane mode on for 10 seconds, then off — this reconnects to the nearest tower.
  • Stop streaming or video calls on other devices sharing the same Wi-Fi.
  • Try at a less busy time, such as early morning.

Downloaded the wrong file?

Sometimes pages full of adverts trick people into downloading a different app, a 'cleaner', or a VPN. Signs you got the wrong file:

  • The file name has nothing to do with Royal X Casino.
  • After installing, the app asks for payment before showing anything.
  • The icon is different from what you expected.

Delete it immediately and download from the official button. If you already installed it, uninstall it and run a Play Protect scan.

Downloads saving to the SD card

Some phones save downloads to the memory card. SD cards can be slow or damaged, causing corrupted files. In Chrome's download settings, choose internal storage instead, then download again.

Blocked on office or university Wi-Fi

Many workplace and campus networks block APK downloads or gaming sites. This is their policy — don't try to bypass it. Use your own mobile data or home Wi-Fi instead.

Summary: download problems at a glance

  1. 1Stable connection (avoid load-shedding times).
  2. 2Chrome with data saver off.
  3. 3Allow pop-ups if the button doesn't respond.
  4. 4Save to internal storage.
  5. 5Delete broken or duplicate files before retrying.
  6. 6Once downloaded, follow the installation guide.

Bypassing ISP restrictions with DNS settings

In Pakistan, some Internet Service Providers (ISPs) may occasionally restrict access to gaming-related websites or their download servers. If you find that the download button doesn't respond, it might not be your phone—it could be your ISP's DNS (Domain Name System). A highly effective way to bypass this is to change your 'Private DNS' settings on your Android phone.

  1. 1Go to 'Settings' and search for 'Private DNS'.
  2. 2Select 'Private DNS provider hostname'.
  3. 3Enter 'dns.google' or '1dot1dot1dot1.cloudflare-dns.com'.
  4. 4Save the settings and try the download again.

This tells your phone to use Google's or Cloudflare's global directory instead of your local ISP's directory. This often instantly fixes 'Site cannot be reached' errors and can even improve your overall download speed and stability. Unlike a VPN, this does not hide your IP address or slow down your connection.

Choosing the right browser for a smooth download

While Google Chrome is the standard, other browsers can behave differently. Brave Browser, for example, has aggressive ad-blocking that might stop the 'Download' button from triggering. Samsung Internet is very good but might hide the file in a specific 'Samsung' folder. Firefox for Android is solid but sometimes asks for extra permissions to write to your storage.

We generally recommend Chrome as it provides the most helpful notifications. Avoid using 'Mini' browsers like Opera Mini or UC Mini for this task. These browsers use 'compression servers' to save data, which can often mangle the APK file during the download process. An APK is a complex package, and if a compression server tries to shrink it, the resulting file will almost certainly fail to install with a 'Parse Error'.

Specific browser settings for low-RAM devices

If you are using a phone with 2GB or 3GB of RAM, your browser might struggle to handle a large download while other tabs are open. Android's memory management will often kill the browser process to free up RAM, which causes the download to stop unexpectedly. To prevent this, close all other tabs in your browser before you start the download. You should also close background apps like Facebook, TikTok, or Instagram.

Another tip for low-end devices is to disable the 'Preload pages' feature in Chrome's settings (Settings > Privacy and security > Preload pages > No preloading). This saves valuable resources for the actual download. These small adjustments can make a huge difference in the stability of your download, especially on older hardware that is common in the Pakistani market.

Using a VPN: When it helps and when it hurts

If your local network is strictly blocking the download, a VPN can help by routing your traffic through another country. However, a VPN can also introduce problems. Because your data has to travel further, your download speed will usually be much slower. More importantly, if the VPN connection drops for even a fraction of a second, the download might fail. Free VPNs often have very slow speeds and unstable connections, which can lead to corrupted APK files.

If you use a VPN to download the app, we recommend turning it off once the installation is complete and using your local connection to register and play, as this provides the lowest 'ping' and best gaming experience. This also helps in keeping your account history consistent and avoids potential flags for location switching.

Clearing browser cache for the download page

If you have visited our site before and are now trying to download a newer version, your browser might be showing you a 'cached' version of the old page. This can result in you tapping a button that points to an outdated file. To ensure you are always getting the latest version, clear your browser's cache specifically for this site.

  1. 1In Chrome, tap the three dots > 'History'.
  2. 2Select 'Clear browsing data'.
  3. 3Choose 'Cached images and files' only.
  4. 4Set time range to 'Last hour' and tap 'Clear data'.
  5. 5Refresh the download page and try again.

This forces the browser to fetch the very latest version of the website and its download links. This small step can resolve many 'Nothing happens' or 'File not found' issues that frustrate players.

Understanding file integrity and download completion

A successful download isn't just about reaching 100%; it's about the file being 'intact'. Sometimes, a download can finish and look complete, but it was actually interrupted at 99%. Android's file manager might not always show this error. To check for this, compare the file size in your 'Downloads' folder with the size mentioned on our site. If there is a difference of even a few kilobytes, the file is likely incomplete.

If you consistently get incomplete downloads, try using a dedicated 'Download Manager' app from the Play Store. These apps are designed to handle interruptions better than a standard browser and can 'resume' a download instead of starting from zero. This is particularly useful in Pakistan where mobile data connections can be unstable or where load-shedding might interrupt your Wi-Fi router's power.
